Easter Sunstar, North Table Mountain

The lupine conditions were so good at North Table Mountain, that my husband and I decided to return for a second sunrise in a row on Easter morning. Much different conditions than the previous, overcast day but I had this tree scoped out for sunrise in the hope of capturing a sunstar and backlit lupine. It’s beginning to become our Easter tradition: to get up long before dawn and photograph sunrise at a location exemplifying nature’s beauty.
