Clearing Fog at Sunrise, Sierra Foothills

I love the rolling hills and stately oak trees of the Sierra Nevada foothills; it is tough to find vantage points that are not on private land though. Chasing patchy fog along Scott Road outside Folsom, I spotted a million compositions that I couldn’t get to or pull over for, but finally, found a small shoulder in the road to capture these sun rays beaming through the oaks.
