Redwoods in Fog, Damnation Creek Trail

I don’t often process the first shot of the day as I consider many of those to be “warmup shots”, but walking through the forest looking for compositions, this scene caught my eye and became a warmup shot I quite liked because of the dark moodiness of the foreground ferns, and the towering treetops disappearing into the thick fog.
