I’m a sucker for the orange leaves of late autumn oak trees covered in a coating of fresh snow, and El Capitan Meadow at the base of Cathedral Rocks has no shortage of these picturesque beauties. I love visiting one of my favorite meadows in wintery, misty conditions that transforms the landscape into a real life painting.
