Redfish Lake Pink Sunrise
I was a little nervous about setting my alarm at 5am to photograph sunrise when the cloud cover was so thick! I thought for sure, I’d get skunked out. Fortunately, there was a break in the clouds to the east to allow the briefest glimpse of lit up clouds and pink alpenglow on the distant peaks of the Sawtooth range overlooking Redfish Lake. Tiny yellow flowers in bloom at various spots on the lake’s edge provided a nice, additional foreground element.
