2020 Capitol Park Flowering Dogwood 3
For last few years in early April, I’ve always brought my camera with me to work in downtown Sacramento to capture the flowering dogwood trees around the State Capitol. This year, our office has been closed and I missed the prime dogwood season by about a week, finding many of them browning at the edges and wilting. But, it was still very therapeutic to get out and capture a few shots, and I’m happy I set my alarm early to visit old friends.
