Japanese Maple Abstract

What’s almost as strange as the surreal pandemic we’ve been living through is the odd weather we’ve been having in Sacramento in May. Unusually cool temperatures and rain! I ventured into the front yard after a fresh spring rain to capture some multiple exposure composites of the wet Japanese Maple leaves from our tree juxtaposed with wet grass. The result is an intentionally high key, bright image which only required minimal edits in post-processing.
