Mossbrae Falls Ethereal Beauty

I spent the holiday weekend exploring the beautiful area around Mount Shasta, so of course I had to hike to the picturesque Mossbrae Falls, which is fed by underground springs and gushes down a moss-lined canyon wall into the Sacramento River. What an ethereal wonderland this is! I’ve been here before in the summer, and the aeration and mist that come from the falls are a welcome respite on a hot Central Valley day.
