Sand Harbor Sunstar
This late spring has been highly unusual in Sacramento; what is usually clear skies and hot weather has been unseasonably cool weather with interesting clouds building up over the Sierra Nevada every afternoon. No matter that it was a Sunday night and I had to be up for work early the next day, it had been a while since I photographed sunset at Lake Tahoe’s east shore, so what the heck, make the drive and see what happens! Although the clouds didn’t catch a lot of sunset color, I still love this high contrast sunlight, and the warm sidelight on the trees and boulders. Just a classic Lake Tahoe scene.
