Young Saplings in Morning Light, El Cap Meadow

This evenly bare copse of young saplings caught my eye from across El Capitan Meadow so I waited until the sun rose over Cathedral Rocks behind me and spotlit these little beauties. All trees have an expressiveness about them and these remind me of playful little children with the old, stodgy adults looking on.
