Waterpocket Fold, Capitol Reef NP

Extending nearly 100 miles, Waterpocket Fold, with it’s colorful sedimentary strata, is a defining geologic feature of Capitol Reef National Park. When exploring this colorful area of the park, my interest was piqued by these tiny trees, in diffuse light, a nice foreground element to the colorful rock.
