Skógafoss in Black and White
One of the most popular due to it’s easy access, and most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland, Skogafoss is a difficult location to photograph among the throngs of tourists. I walked up a little closer than most, set up my tripod and 10 stop neutral density filter, and took a series of long exposures while continually wiping the spray off my camera. The ghost person you see at the base of the falls was the only person I captured in this shot, but I decided to leave them to convey a sense of the massive scale of this fall.
If you Google "Skogafoss in Black and White", you will find many stellar, beautiful images of this iconic waterfall in monochrome; this is just my take.
